Diego Costa has reportedly been transfer listed by Atletico Madrid.
The striker is currently serving an eight-game ban for abusing a referee earlier in April.
Mundo Deportivo report that the hierarchy at Atletico are tired of Costa’s antics and believe the team have been damaged by his suspension.
Manager Diego Simeone is understood to want to keep the Spain international but the club do not share the same sentiment.
The La Liga club paid around £58million for the striker and he joined in January 2018 from Chelsea but has failed to live up to that price tag.
In 42 games he has just 11 goals and has only scored once in the league this season.
He will also play no further part of this season because of an eight-game suspension.
Costa reacted furiously when referee Gil Manzano gave a foul against him in their 2-0 defeat to Barcelona in April. He was given a red card for dissent.
