Manchester United legends from their famous ‘Class of 92’ celebrated wildly at Wembley Stadium on Saturday as they witnessed Salford City’s promotion to the Football League.


Club co-owners David Beckham, Gary Neville, Phil Neville, Ryan Giggs and Nicky Butt were all in attendance at the national stadium for their side’s 3-0 play-off final victory over AFC Fylde.

Goals from Emmanuel Dieseruvwe, Carl Piergianni and Ibou Touray won the day for Salford, who have achieved four promotions in their last five seasons.


They will now start a campaign in the Football League for the first time in history, with their famous owners delighted as a result.
