Manchester United have made a bid of over €40million (£35million) for Moussa Dembele, according to reports.
The Lyon striker bagged 23 goals and picked up six assists in all competitions this season and is seemingly being eyed as a potential frontman for the Red Devils.
It’s claimed by Goal that United have now submitted an opening offer for Dembele, who they’ve been tracking since his youth time at PSG.
After leaving the French superpower, he began his senior career with Fulham before spending two years at Celtic.
Then, last summer, the 22-year-old joined Lyon and was joint fourth top scorer in his debut Ligue 1 season.
The attacking force in the United first-team squad consists of Alexis Sanchez, Romelu Lukaku, Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial as things stand.
It is heavily rumoured that Lukaku will leave Old Trafford this summer, with Inter said to be interested.
